Adult ambassadors for the 2026-2027 school year will be chosen in August. Please keep an eye on this page for more details as we near the application period.

Adult ambassadors travel with students to Japan and support them as chaperones while there. In addition, they are expected to participate in the fundraising events and meetings leading up to the travel date to bond with the group and make sure the student travelers are comfortable. Adults chosen are typically student parents, City of Winona representatives, or school representatives. Generally, 6-8 adults are chosen each year. The typical cost of travel is $3,500 prior to fundraising.
